All right, onto the story!

Marten was walking through the park. He was on his lunch break and was going to grab a bite to eat at the local restaurant before going back to the delivery room. He was walking through when he noticed a certain solar alicorn walking his way. "Oh no," he thought to himself. He looked around but there was no way of escape from her.
"Father Marten. How are you doing today?" Celestia asked as she walked up to him, spotting him from the way.
"Oh, uh, Celestia. I'm, uh, doing fine. I had a couple of deliveries today."
"Oh, that's wonderful news! I'm sure the babies were adorable as ever."
"They-they are. Always."
"I'm glad to hear the job is suiting you well."
"Indeed it is. We just got a dragon egg into the orphanage as well. I'll definately be seeking Mernah's advice on dragons and how to raise them."
"That is certainly interesting. I do hope you get the advice you are seeking."
Celestia and him began to chat a little, but the more they spoke, the more he became lost in her eyes, in her flowing mane, in her heavenly voice. He began to feel weak in the knees and he had to sit down on the steps to not fall like a dork. He felt his chest warm up and his stomach twist.
"Marten? Is everything all right. You seemed to have stopped talking."
Father Marten snapped out of his trance and looked to her, cheeks growing red. "Uh, yeah! I just realized I still need to get something to eat before my lunch break is over!"
"Oh, well, don't let me keep you waiting for your meal. Have a good day, Marten." With that, she continued to walk away. Marten sighed as he watched her go, her flowing tail trickling off into the distance.
He smiled to himself. Perhaps one day he'd tell her, but it's doubtful she'd ever feel the same way as well.
